    Loved this book twice through from beginning to end.

    I first read the book fifty odd years ago. It left a lasting impact on me to the point where over the years I promised myself to read it again. Since I recently retired I decided to read it once again hoping that it would have the same effect. It did and more so. Michener can weave together a story like no other. He has a rare quality of taking a subject that you may hesitate to read and have you walk away with a whole new appreciation for it. I cannot recommend this book enough!

    One of the greatest works of historical fiction ever written

    This book is nuanced and profound in too many ways to list. The story covers thousands of years of history, and yet characters who appear for only a chapter are sympathetic and memorable. It speaks to both our fleeting and poignant individual existence and to our place in the grand arc of history, from the modern day to the very... Source.

    "The Source " by James A. Michener

    the book cover jacket was somewhat torn, but I taped the entire cover with wide clear shipping tape, so it i fine now. the pages were perfect,clean condition. It looked like it had not been read. I read this book many years ago. I loved it and am looking forward to reading it again.
