A killer ‘Q’!
I remember seeing this movie way back in the early 1980s when it first aired on cable television: the human cast of the film were intriguing (especially Michael Moriarty’s Jimmy Quinn, who practically stole the show) & the late great David Carradine’s Shepherd as he attempts to connect a series of murders to the existence of the movie’s giant monster star - Quetzalcoatl - as it goes on a killing spree in New York City. Even in 1982, the stop-motion creature was very well-done, & the final fight at the Chrysler Building is worth the wait. This is a great purchase both in personal viewing pleasure & in the loving memory of the film’s director Larry Cohen, who unfortunately passed away on March 23, 2019 at age 82.
