I had forgotten all about this series,yes not bad,has it's funny moments, few future stars pop up now and again.few Coronation street actors,bit parts.

The new avengers box set.
I highly recommend this box set, a huge saving on a new box set. A great old classic programme not to be missed if you like this type of series.

How can you not love The New Avengers, good, clean entertainment, with a good bit of humour too and the tantalising question of does Purdy love Gambit (of course she does).

Secret agent detective adventure stories, very 1970s
Although lacking the lustre and surrealism of the original Avengers series aired in the 1960s, the story lines are still enjoyable.
