Unnecessary downgrade in components.
Repos is a well established publisher and this is an expansion for a Top Tier game. Why, oh why would they included those infamous and very hated, "metallic" PAINTED plastic cubes? This is a very "niche" product: Only owners of the base game would get it, and even then, this is a SECOND expansion: For many it's just too much. Therefore, this will be bought by people like me: That would get it even if it'd cost a little more. It's not an "introductory" title where corners need to be cut to maximize profit. (Funny enough, the corners of the cubes ARE CUT, due to manufacturing process). On the contrary, this is the kind of product were you can include quality components and charge the difference. But even if they really needed to go cheap, they could have gone with UNPAINTED plastic cubes (black & white or even translucent) that DO NOT deteriorate and remain mint, through time. (And I do know high quality after-market metallic cubes are available, which is besides the point, so please don't bring that up as a solution.) This component decision does not emanate from need, but from greediness. PICTURES: The ELEGANT White & Black cubes are NOT the ones you get. I bet they would have been even cheaper than the crappy "metallic" ones you DO get. (Those metallic cubes peel and deteriorate even more than this, with use.)
