Good Historical book
I have wanted this book for about 25 years and finally got around to buying it. I had several pages copied from a friend's book that had a few designs for embroidery that I liked to do years ago. When I retired I wanted to do a lot more embroidery not just crewel with wool, but Deerfield done with cotton, in shades of blue. The thread they used in the 19th century is similar to the a type of thread from DENMARK. SO I looked for this book on eBay and found it and ordered a shipment of the Danish cotton thread. Now to go to work. COULD never have found more embroidery designs if not for this thorough and informative book.

I would loved to have more of the histor...
I would loved to have more of the history of the Blue and White Needlework society but I'm really glad to have this book.

Wonderful book
This book is historically informative with beautiful illustrations and many patterns which can be traced. Well worth having.
