Excellent presentation about life for farmers and the people living through wwII
Not so easy to find dvd …very interesting dvd.Historical information and great enthusiasm by the presenters, conveying concepts about what happened in wwII and how farmers and land labourers helped in secret service in case of a German nazi invasion.

Great series, well produced very informative.
Excellent series detailing life during WW2 in the countryside and on the farms of England. Bought as a Christmas present for an old couple 92+ and there eyes lite up at the old appliances and farm machinery they had used in there youth.

Brilliant series.
A fantastic, very infomative series. Having watched the 3 experts in other series, The Victorian farm and Edwardian Farm, this is the best. Learned a lot and realised what our Grandparents and parents, went through. This should be compulsory vieewing in schools, it may make the young of today a little more appreciative of what they have in life.

as always you learn so much of our history and how hard it was for the people then but always seemed happier and content with less than people today that everything. a lesson to us all in this buy this thing or that thing that people don't really need throw away society world.

Brilliant
Very entertaining and true to life, out of the programs Ruth Peter & Alex have done in my opinion this is the best series, very enjoyable from start to finish and a great addition to my collection.
