The best of Young's best era
Neil Young created his best work during his first decade as a professional musician, beginning with his days as a member of the short lived but legendary Buffalo Springfield and then as a solo artist. This compilation covers that period. It features some of the songs he composed when he was in Springfield and the best of his solo albums up until 1976. It also features songs that, until recently, were hard to find anywhere else. "Star of Bethlehem" and "Campaigner" were originally part of albums that were never released until recently, so this set was the only place where you can hear them. There have a couple of other compilations since this release that contains some of the bigger hits from this album as well as his later classics like "Rockin' in the Free World", but this is still essential since this covers what most people will agree was Young's best and most consistent period.

One of rocks all time best.
It has a little bit of Neil young’s early carrier. So good to hear songs I haven’t heard in a while. Then Moves on to later songs and he just keeps getting better with age. Husk like a fine wine.

Really Great stuff ~ takes me back to Those good old days!
10 cds for just over $7 a piece/great to hear those songs from 1972 ~ 1976 classics remastered!

Neil Young Decade CD set
This is the one to get if one wants this album on CD. It’s the original non-remastered early press and it sounds great! I have the original triple vinyl LP set and this CD set sounds very much like the vinyl.The discs come in a double fat box jewel case. Get it and dig on it.

Well Kept, Condition, Sound and Value of 3 CD set
We hit the Jackpot. These 3 CD set of Neil Young were very well kept and very well pleased that I purchased them. I bought it for my husband and he was thrilled with the condition, sound, value and enjoyed it very much. He said whoever owned them took very well care of them, not a scratch of any of them.

Too Few Great Songs
There only two of Neil Young's Songs I play on this entire Album. Therefore, it was not a good investment for me. Larry

Neil Young: The Very Best of ... Could me better.
I thought I orders one CD, but I got two CD's on 2 stores. Both have cracks on covers.
