I am not and never have been an expert archer. That is not too surprising as I didn't shoot my first arrow until passing the age of retirement. However, I did once win a division of a postal shoot and been awarded a trophy for veing the top novice; so I do know what it is like to be a champion - sort of. What interests me most is the varied and imagined behaviour, and ambitions of archers; indeed, all sports participants. These short stories reflect this concern and are amusing tales about the characters you may meet when shooting on the range and at an archery club. It only had to travel 60 mile!. It finally arrived this morning with a Royal Mail 48 hour post label, so took a month to finally dispatch
