NotesKid Rock is a name that is synonymous with the high life. We're talkin' blunt smokin' midgets, 40 ouncers, bowling alleys and old school hip hop. Born and raised in Detroit, Kid Rock put the wheels in motion by cutting a series of demos in high school that earned him an opening slot on the Boogie Down Productions tour in 1988. Ten years after his first demo tape hit the streets, Kid Rock drops his fourth full length and major label debut Devil Without a Cause. The album features a bounty of B-boy rock 'n' roll and some dope-ass Busy Bee old school rap flavas, liberally injected with a looped dose of the ol' Detroit metallic K.O.

Clean!
We needed some good old fashioned Detroit jams for a road trip so I nabbed some Kid Rock. Such fond memories of this album (or what is it called? record? no - CD!) from the 90s. This would surely keep us awake. I saw that it was a "clean" CD. 'That's good,' I said to myself, 'don't want any smudges on it or anything'. It turns out that it meant "clean, no-cussing version". Ugh. Instead of going through the process of a return, I gave it a listen. It wasn't nearly that bad. I know all of the lyrics by heart so whenever a cuss word was censored I could just keep right on singing. Of course, I, and Zombie Toyz abhores censorship, but 90s Kid Rock and Joe C were able to play through the adversity, and put out a butt-kicking clean version of this CD.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
