A must
This is one of King's best. No ghosts, ghouls, or vampires, just people and the frailties of humans. I do think his best writing is about human nature. The best of Stephen King as Richard Bachman
I've always loved Stephen King and all his books but the long walk is my all-time favorite and always has been! I've read it a lot of times. It really makes you fall in love with the characters and you're walking along side them. You feel their pain and every other emotion that is described. Great story!

One of King’s best

An Interesting story that reminds me a little of The Hunger Games.
