Product Information

While playing with an ancient spellbook, Nikki, a disillusioned acrobat, and Fargus, the jester, inadvertently unleash a demon upon the kingdom. The task now falls upon them to undo their mistake, which can only be fixed by finding the Wishing Engine and obtaining a much sought-after wish. Such is the premise for Pandemonium!, a platform romp from Crystal Dynamics. Commonly referred to as 2.5D, the game world and its denizens are rendered in 3D, while the player is restricted to a two-dimensional plane that veers into and out of the screen in a pre-determined fashion.<br><br>Before each level, players are able to choose to play as either Nikki or Fargus, each of whom possesses unique abilities. The former is capable of performing a double-jump, while the latter can perform a roll attack -- moves which will prove helpful in dispatching the enemies that stand in their way. Additionally, power-ups can be obtained that will allow the characters to wield various magic projectiles. At certain points, each character is also capable of transforming into a dragon or frog, among a handful of other creatures.<br><br>While navigating the 18 levels, each of which is home to an array of outlandish creatures, insects, and other such enemies, players will need to jump over chasms and obstacles that litter their path. Scattered throughout the levels are coins that will reward the player with an extra life once 300 of them are obtained. Nikki and Fargus are only capable of surviving a handful of hits, but their health can be replenished by collecting hearts strewn throughout the worlds. Eventually, both characters will be capable of sustaining significant damage before succumbing to their injuries.

    Product arrived as shown. Seller shipped without tracking but did not provide an estimated date or a reply to my message. Product arrived about 10 days later in a small envelope with no packaging except a single 4x3 inch square of bubble wrap. The disc worked as intended but the shipping condition was very poor despite it being free shipping. The lack of response from the seller was also concerning but seeing as the disc arrived unbroken and functional I am leaving a positive review.

    I dont leave NEGATIVE feedback, its bogus. BUT THIS WOULD BE A NEGATIVE, as the game never arrived. Not a single reply to my messages. Stay away from this seller if you want your time wasted. Just check his feedback, its plain as day his service is horrible. Waited days and days, the single disc game i bought never arrived.. had to wait for refund finally... what a joke of a store you run.

    Worked okay, was a little scratched up but I watched the opening FMV and it didn't seem to stutter at all, and the game itself ran fine. As for the game itself, very creative level design, but keep in mind it's a traditional sidescroller with a 3d look. Also the game uses passwords instead of the memory card which might get annoying. I heard from a friend that it's only 18 stages, which sounds a little lacking. But the levels are so full of variety I can see why they only made so many

    Best ever

    I miss the days of the original PS1 and all the nostalgia, when I pop this in, it brings NES right back to the best years of my life. Game is fun, exciting and changing, definitely worth getting it!
