WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE GIANT CROC FROM LAKE PLACID MEETS ANACONDA?? A GOOD TIME WATCHING THE FIGHT!!
We are big fans of the Lake Placid horror franchise, and also the Anaconda franchise. Lake Placid is our favorite of the two, but only because of the amazing star power that made the original film a classic and the subsequent sequels as well. Who doesn't love John Schneider, Betty White, Cloris Leachman, Robert England, and Yancy Butler? Anaconda (and its sequels) deserve some praise, also. LOVE Jon Voight as the villain in the original Anaconda. Crystal Allen kicks &*%^ and really enjoy her, too. But bought this DVD which brought the REAL "stars" of these franchises together...the giant Anacondas and the larger-than-life killer Crocodiles...because we felt like it couldn't be a disappointment. And it fact, the movie not only did NOT disappoint...it was even better than we hoped it would be. This is a truly engaging creature feature with great special effects in the uncut version. Sensational addition to the hit franchises that decided to bring the two story lines and the monsters of the animal kingdom together.

Nicely done!
As far as cross-overs go, most are quite bad, no matter how good the originals are. THIS one, however, is quite good. The CGI creatures leave a little to be desired, but the movie itself is very enjoyable. Robert Englund put in a stellar performance (as I expected). Yancy Butler was GREAT as the over-worked, often-berated Sheriff. Corin Nemec has an excellent performance as the Fish And Wildlife officer who gets caught up in it all, with his college-age daughter being in the middle of the danger. All-in-all, the main characters and most of the bit parts were well-written and acted. This is worthy of your time --- provided you can watch people getting ripped apart by crocodiles and swallowed by snakes. ;-)

Lightweight with fun features
A fun movie, in a way a good comedy, some actors are good and some of the girls for the topless scenes, well they were chosen for not for their acting. Of the actors, Yancy Butler and Robert Englund they were good, nice special effects for a b movie, plot is good. A good fun horror to eat popcorn and no deep thinking : topless girls for the R rating, some good acting, lots of people killed, two types of monsters and a plot that is easy to follow.
