At the moment I activate it with the second chip, she steps forward and begins eating, and I take my chip away. My 10 yo female gives me stink eye if I don’t put a treat down in front of her feeder. She then steps forward and eats. It’s only been a week! I’m amazed at the quality of these feeders. Each one of my cats has a different diet. These are wonderful!

This feeder fits our needs perfectly allowing only him access to the food. The reason for the 4 stars is because when operating by battery power it is not reliable. I believe it is because the door does not close tightly enough to hold the batteries in place so they shift. One reason I chose this feeder tho was because it had the option to plug in and was not solely reliant upon batteries. Works perfectly if plugged in.
