So far so good
Mount I received looks different from images, however it did arrive in a sealed back with a genuine Honda label in a box that seemed genuine and OEM as far as I can tell. The bracket matches the OEM one that was on my car even though the markings are different from what is in the picture. I do believe this is OEM however I think multiple suppliers make this part for Honda and there are two styles as far as my research shows. OEM part that is worth the extra money
Factory original mount lasted 14 years! Replaced with an aftermarket part which lasted a few months before breaking. Bad mistake! Should have paid attention to all the one star comments about aftermarket front motor mounts. This is a factory original mount in a sealed factory box. Perfect fit!
My daughter's Civic had this loud noise from under the hood. Sounded like an exhaust leak. Some forum suggested this engine mount was probably bad. It was. I followed recommendations to get an OEM part. The round disk w the button was a larger diameter than the original. More sq inches for added support I guess. Didnt need to remove the alum part bolted to fender. Just loosen. Removed 10mm bolt at abs controller. Enough room to clear. Dropped a big bolt inside fender. Took longer to find and fetch that bugger than the whole job itself. Car is very quiet now. Rubber mount suspends the engine up off the lower part now. No annoying vibration sound. Daughter is happy now. I got several hugs! Totally worth the hassle of fixing it. Hopefully this new part will last longer than the original.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
