    Although this book was not as described, with no picture of it in the listing, the seller communicated well and quickly gave me a full refund while letting me keep it. The minimal packaging left the book a bit vulnerable (typical for ThriftBooks), but it did arrive safely and timely. As usual, it’s hit or miss with this seller, but often times you can get great values, and their customer service is always very good. Many other sellers with millions of transactions don’t even communicate.

    Rich Deep Accurate and All You Need to know to play scratch golf is in here.

    Take it from a golfer that has been collecting instructional books and studying the golf swing for over 25 years...this book is THE ONE !!! This “ thin” simple looking book has priceless illustrations, phenomenal content , and enough meat to keep you busy learning and perfecting your swing for many many years. Ben Hogan was one of , if not the best ball striker of all time and he shared a lot of his knowledge in this book . He also makes you dig and find hidden truths for yourself that are in between the lines. You have to read it and study it over and over again because it is so “ deep” and full of nuggets. Worth the price for the illustrations alone.

    Ben Hogan's Five Lessons

    I never took golf lessons and just hacked my way around the course. Reading this book and implementing Ben's five fundamentals immediately took ten strokes off my game and helped me enjoy playing. I have bought several copies and give them to friends I see struggling. When my game starts to slip I go back and re-read Ben's lessons. Great book, easy to read and understand. Excellent illustrations. Highly recommended.

    Easy to understand golf instruction

    If you’re looking for simple, clear, easy to understand golf instruction look no further. Ben Hogan explains the golf swing in a very clear functional way.     Good modern golf basics

    Fairly old style vocabulary but an otherwise easy read. A good guide book and refresher for golfers wanting to know the right things to do with their golf swings. Take what you can from it, practice it and have fun with your game.
