I have several other high end fly rods costing hundreds of dollars more and this one is more fun to fish with. I never thought a rod like this would be at the top of my rating for what I reach for when going on the water. It easily handles 14 inch trout and even landed a few smallmouth bass too. I am considering a 5-6 weight Eagle Claw next.
