Item arrived much faster than I had expected in excellent condition in no small part due to the excellent way it was prepared for posting with the greatest care taken with packaging. The quality of the item was excellent and the appearance of the figures was exactly as shown in the listing photo. The set allows for dismounted cavalry units in ACW wargaming to be created as well as command stands. It represents good value for the type of figures included. Very pleased A+++

spy car complete with spy gadgets
what does one write about a model? its like a puzzle. pieces to be assembled to make the project complete. it is very much like the one very seldom seen the the sixties spy series, the man from u.n.c.l.e. to the best of my knowledge it has all the secret spy gadgets that were on the car used in the show, right down to the rocket launchers in the gull wing doors. i suppose you had to really get into the television series to appreciate this one. i once heard both napoleon and illya complain about having to film the episodes with this car in it as it was extremely hot and uncomfortable for the actors. just a bit of trivia for you. what does one write about a model? its like a puzzle. pieces to be assembled to make the project complete. it is very much like the one very seldom seen the the sixties spy series, the man from u.n.c.l.e. to the best of my knowledge it has all the secret spy gadgets that were on the car used in the show, right down to the rocket launchers in the gull wing doors. i suppose you had to really get into the television series to appreciate this one. i once heard both napoleon and illya complain about having to film the episodes with this car in it as it was extremely hot and uncomfortable for the actors. just a bit of trivia for you.

MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. CAR
Whether or not you are a fan of the very popular 1960's secret agent (pre-Bond) U.N.C.L.E. series with Robert Vaughan and David McCallum, this car is a great design concept vehicle to have in your collection - either built up or in it's virgin state. I have some of the original 1970's models and this new re-issue does the original justice, plus it includes some great support material including a fabulous full color multi-page brochure on the cars history. This sportscar was also presented on the spin-off TV program, Girl from U.N.C.L.E. starring Stephanie Powers. It's an easy build and if you take your time, you can really improve on it with some modeling techniques for adding extra details. I purchased separately an etched metal add-on for those details also available on eBay - just ... 1/25 Piranha plastic model car kit
Well designed kit with reasonable detailing. Two dimples in the upper body casting will require filler but the rest is pretty straight forward. Extras included clear or smoked windows and a nice red tail/bumper piece. Easily customizable.

I had one when I was ten or so. Not only did the model reignite my childhood memories but I am having fun building it. Thanks to ant and round 2 for this re release..

Considering that this is a repop of an old kit, they're asking a lot with regards to the price vs the value of a relatively simple car model.
