I had to retap the metric threads and the old bolt off the old shifter didn't match. Retaping could be a big problem for many. Oh, had to buy a new bolt at a hardware store. They should send one with the kit. The splines matched but there is no adjustment due to the location of the bolt threads to tighten it. Need to slightly relocate the tightening bolt and threads. The fixed location happened to work for me. You get what you pay for.
