Brain Age is a game of mathematical equations, logic puzzles, reading exercises, and more with the curious goal of stimulating a player's gray matter. Based on the research of Japanese neurologist Ryuta Kawashima, the premise behind Brain Age is that certain regions of the brain can become more active, more "healthy," through specific, timed exercises repeated on a daily basis. Played with the touch screen positioned on either the left or right side, like a book, the game involves using the stylus to jot down numbers, draw lines between dots, and so forth, while the microphone is used for calling out colors, reading passages aloud, and various other functions. <br><br>Kawashima himself serves as the game's host and will offer pointed criticism or words of encouragement based on each test's results. The object is to make one's brain "younger" over time by playing each day for weeks or even months. Progress is charted via graph over a specified time period, with up to a year's worth of data stored in each of the game's four save files. Among the included activities are Syllable Count, Reading Aloud, Word Memory, Stroop Test, Speed Counting, Triangle Math, Connect Maze, Calculation, Head Count, and Low to High. The logic puzzle game Sudoku is also featured as a bonus, while up to 16 players can compete in a race to solve math problems.

Listing was accurate. Great price and shipping charges. I have already repaired and have the scope working. The only suggestion I have is to make sure to pad and wrap more securely. USPS was not gentle with their handling and scope arrived with the case bent and popped out of place as well as the front corners of the panel bent. Was able to repair with no trouble and I cannot even see the bends now. A+ seller for keeping in touch while USPS held the package for a week. Thanks you!

Cute little game to keep your brain busy. Game cover is french/english, but game is in English only. The game asks to hand-write numbers, but automatic recognition is far from perfect. The game is angry at you if you don't play every day. Interface for Sudoku is different from others Sudoku games I know, but it's functional and fits well with the rest of the game.

Voice recognition is very problematic. The numbers don't register right sometimes. Too little per day.
The voice recognition isn't that great. When multiple times I say things right into the microphone and it can't figure out what I said. Especially red, which I have to say as reh for it to understand. The number recognition isn't perfect especially when making a 5. And sometimes when doing the math problems if you put in a answer, it jumps to the next question before you can react and then what you were writing for the previous answer is recorded as your answer for the next question and calls it wrong before you can correct it. Also, when the game happens of remember where the numbers are and put them in the correct order, sometimes the showing the answer is on screen for like half a second and then it makes you feel bad you got it wrong when you didn't have any time to see what you were ... Good value, Quick Shgipping
This game was neither new or sealed. Someone elses score was already in the game. Put that aside. The game came super fast. It was priced reasonably and works well.
