    Super-speedy dispatch and delivery, ordered late Thurs evening and it arrived Saturday! Packaging could have been a bit more robust as the case seemed more damaged than it showed in the picture so I think it got battered a bit in the post but I have a spare case so not a problem. DVD is as described and plays fine. Great price. Very pleased with my purchase, thanks.

    Good for the price, small problems

    The contents of this are unquestionably great. However there were some small problems. The condition of the cover was generally good with only hairline scratches and original hype sticker still intact. CD 1 plays well and shows light signs of wear. CD 2 plays perfectly and appears to be in excellent condition with hardly any signs of use. The booklet, however, was missing which I was informed would be still inside the case.

    For enthusiasts only

    The Beatles were many things and one of them was prolific. This second volume of the aptly named Anthology makes available a number of recordings, demos, and alternate takes. Much of what appears here was never intended to be released. It has been saved by accident rather than design. Hence, the quality of what appears here varies greatly. Primarily a curio, this is primarily for completists and those interested in what went on behind the scenes.

    Good for the age of the recordings

    Good considering the age of the recordings. Great price But a new boxset has just been released with even better tech used.

    Beatles anthology 2

    Back in the late 90'a when I was a teenager this is the album that opened my eyes to the beatles. Some of the tracks on here are better than the album versions. There are a few live tracks on here where the quality is not the greatest but the alternate versions of studio tracks are essential listening for anyone who likes the beatles.
