The best-designed box I could hope to own
I adore Outlaw Star and wanted to own the most premium possible version of it. The packaging designed after the XGP/Outlaw Star ship is absolutely phenomenal for displaying, and the included art book is a nice bonus, but if you're just looking to own the series on blu-ray, the discs are identical to what you get in the much less expensive Classics release currently being sold at retail. Still, if you're a tremendous fan of the series and want something nice to show your love, this is a good way to go; just be prepared to pay primarily for the box.

Fantastic Edition
I thought I missed out on this collectors edition many years ago but I randomly checked up on it to see if anyone was selling it brand new and to my surprise they were! Outlaw Star Collector's Edition arrived in flawless condition! This classic anime is just as good as I remembered if not better. Couldn't be happier to finally add this edition to my collection.

One of my favorite anime remastered
As an owner of the original DVD release, I can tell you the BD version is a serious improvement, especially in the OP and ED. Colors are vivid and film grain and poor interlacing are removed. The anime itself is a classic.

One of my favorite animes.
It's a great show, it's got comedy and action and SPACE. The story is great and it's an anime I could watch again and again.
