Familiar Themes Colorful Details
Much is compressed into this movie so that it represents elements of the time. Familiar names, places, situations are played out by two leading men who pull the action along as they enteract with the personages of their roles. There is lots of color, some good action, and humor interspersed with the ugliness of criminal activity. Morales reflect the experimentation of social tolerance as to behavior, whether acceptable or not. The supporting actors do extremely well in pulling the piece together. I saw this on a cable channel and wanted my own copy. Ebay, the stupid "Tell us More" portion of this review is screwed up and will not allow me to leave my evaluations. So I will do so here. Good value=Yes, Entertaining=Yes, Engaging Characters=Yes. Ebay, you need to see what is blocking this portion of your review process. I have tried to fill in three times and now quit trying. An interesting couple
Garner is more serious as Wyatt Earp and Willis is a great Tom Mix. In fact Earp lived in California in his later years and Mix was a well known cowboy actor.
