Okay Blu-ray / DVD / CD External USB Unit
People complain about it skipping, but mine has worked fine. Its dual layer DVD burning can be hit or miss. Most of these units on eBay are listed as new ... but they're actually open box or under 1 year use refurbished (which technically can be sold as new). The do come with with Windows Cyberlink DVD software from most sellers, but the software is outdated and limited function OEM versions. You'll still need to purchase better blu-ray software. As with anything on eBay, you dont always get what you pay for so check if the seller takes returns if you get one of these that are a lemon.

No issues. Nice portable external bluray drive.
Worked right away with Windows and Linux. Good speed. Portable. The fact that it is USB 2.0 does not impact transfer speeds. My only concern is replacing the cable should it get lost as it needs a dual USB connector.

You do a lot of traveling this is a great product for Blu-ray Disc& 3D movies too for your laptop. I would buy another one in a heartbeat which I plan to just in case the Blu-ray player malfunctions. So far I am extremely satisfied Thank you

Great Product
The LG BP50NB40 Blu-ray player is extremely easy to install and works great every time. We plug it into desktops and laptops that aren't equipped with blu-ray drives and can watch blu-ray movies, etc. I would highly recommend this product.

Sleek, slender, stylish and very versatile.
This external blu-ray drive is excellent for how I intend to use it. At the width of a fingernail, it is amazing how this amount of technology can fit into something so slender. In fact, I forget it's even there on my desk because it just blends in with the blackened finish. Very little effort goes into setting it up: Just plug the 2 USB cables into your ports and the special end into the drive itself. It's excellent and compatible for use with a PS3 emulator so I can enjoy my old games without having to drag my PS3 out of storage. If you need an external blu-ray drive for use with a laptop or a desktop, you cannot go wrong with this one.

Great blue ray drive
It's a very good drive and it includes cyberlink media suite 10, the drive is very stylish, also it includes a built in USB splitter(two male ports for laptops/PCS that don't supply enough power on one) the drive performs very well.

Nice little drive for watching BluRay disks on your laptop
This drive doesn't seem to use a lot of battery power. It is compact. Connects via USB. Have to download a BluRay codec, but that's the way it goes.

Good Value.
I seen some reviews that said it didnt work with windows 10. Works just fine with my windows 10 home addition. No problems. Works great.

A good value and works well
This Blu Ray Drive appears to be working as well or better than expected. It arrived in fine condition and shows no obvious signs of wear or abuse. Still has the factory-applied protective film. Be aware that if you plant to use this for watching or ripping commercial Blu Ray discs in conjunction with your desktop or laptop computer, then you will need some third-party software such as Makemkv. I am using that software (with success) in conjunction with Handbrake software to archive the Blu Rays discs I purchased in the past.

Perfect external Bluray Player/writer
This external blu ray player and writer works flawlessly and produces perfect BD discs. The Cyberlink programs included with it contain DRM restrictions which make them useless. There are many other programs available which do the same thing. This was a great purchase.
