      Outstanding Actors

      This movie has it all. Excellent story/screenplay, excellent directing and excellent acting. Leonardo de Caprio definitely deserved his Best Actor Award......but, we are amazed that Tom Hardy did not receive Best Supporting Actor. We cannot get enough of Tom Hardy. He is completely different, in every aspect, in every one of his movies. This movie in Blu Ray was really beautiful. The forests, mountains, rivers, waterfalls.....all were magnificent in Blu Ray.. We also are fans of the early 70's "Man in the Wilderness" with Richard Harris and John Huston, so are now particularly pleased that each movie is so different. Now we can enjoy each one as a truly unique presentation altogether.

      The Revenant

      While the storyline of this movie has been done before, it has never been done with such beauty as this picture portrays. The direction and camera work of this movie is perfect. I'm still trying to figure out how the scenes that portray the bear attack were filmed. It was so realistic that I was still thinking about it a week after I saw the movie. It may not be the best movie that I have seen but it is without a doubt the most beautifully filmed movie that I have ever seen.

      One of the Best Movies of the Year

      This is a top quality movie. It's easy to see why it won oscars for lead actor and director. The outdoor filming was also excellent. If you like a good story, this is it.

      A FEAST FOR THE EYES

      I love this movie! One of the best, if not the best movie I've ever seen. Every scene is so breathtakingly shot. The depth and the grit of the characters is unmatched. What a performance by all! What a magnificent job of directing and cinematography. I will watch this again and again. Blu ray is the only way to see this movie in your own home.
