We did not attempt to sell them as cordovan leather, but we did use the word cordovan to describe the color of the shoes. I believe that the listing said the item did not have any chips on it, but there actually was one tiny chip on the back side. But I don’t care b/c the rest of my set has been well used and there are a few chips on my pieces. I was very pleased overall with the transaction.
