Shellback Laundry tray pump
My Shellback laundry tray pump had been faithfully working since 1995. I highly recommend this brand of pump. To get this many years you MUST install it exactly as the manufacturer recommends. I purchased my second pump that was a returned Shellback that had stopped working. The problem was just a piece of pvc plastic that jammed the impeller. I pulled the obstruction out with a pair of needle nose pliers. Installed it and it works like new. Even though this was a bargain, they are worth the full retail price. I am glade I stayed with the shellback laundry pump.
I had this type pump on my utility basement sink and it lasted many years. So I went with the same pump and it works great. I re-piped the whole system to 3/4" instead of 1/2" and it works a lot better. Very easy installation.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Wash tub sink pump
The pump itself is very easy to hook up. A lot of the reviews were spot on about the pump only activates with large amounts of water in the sink tub. It does have a tendency to leave a little water at the bottom witch is not big of a deal, you just used the manual switch when moving clothes to the dryer. I did have to order the 3/4 inch swing valve as the 2 big box stores don't carry them. The pump was 1/2 the money of the one on a video and does want I needed. Maybe a 4 1/2 start.

Open Box gamble.
The overall quality of the pump seems good; cast pump, assembly, design etc.. Regarding "good value" it is pricey if bought new. Mine was an "open box" sale and thus less cost. For this reason I count this purchase good value.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Shellback laundry pump
I been under the weather so it took awhile for me to install this unit..The unit works great , leaves a very small spot of water in the tub, need to adjust the pressure tube... I'm happy with the shell back unit , would recomend it....DonBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Onlly laundry tub pump to use.
