Beautifully dark and real, steeped in emotion and brutality. Loved the writing style and the depth of feeling put into words. Excellent pacing, a real page turner from start to finish... Not that expected anything less after reading the first books. Excellent storytelling which leaves you desperate for the next installment. Easily one of my favourite authors these days. Loving the continued character development in this book and the way in makes you soften towards the antagonist showing that no one is just one thing. Really enjoyed getting to know these characters more while meeting new ones Having read the previous books in the series, I was waiting with baited breath for this one! The author writes with such ease describing the characters and the surroundings that you're transported into the book, on the journey with the characters like you're one of the onlookers whilst this story unfolds. You're taken down such a windy, rabbit hole of a route with plot twists, character backgrounds and brilliant battle scenes!
