The Canadian television series DUE SOUTH is a police action-comedy revolving around Canadian Mountie Benton Fraser (Paul Gross) and his partner, Chicago cop Ray Vecchio (David Marciano). When Fraser is exported to the streets of Chicago from up north to fight crime, the polite mountie and his deaf, lip-reading K-9 encounter endless humor, especially in their experiences with the vastly different Vecchio. great show
I purchased season one, and then decided we needed the whole series. Good clean shows, minimal violence, no cussing, and a main character that continually portrays gentleman manners, respect, and compassion. My 7 year old now wants to be a Mountie! Every episode a treasure
Action packed and amazing fun. The comedy interwoven with action scenes make this truly wonderful entertainment. Every episode is unique and showcases the quality of the characters and plots. It's a shame there were only 67 episodes. We watched this series years ago on live TV and it's even more enjoyable the second time around. You won't be disappointed with this classic. Loved the series when it first aired.
Unlike most TV series this disk set combined several episodes into one making them a little long. The quality is excellent and the enjoyment endless. If the episodes had been separate , I would have given it 5 stars.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Very entertaining

due south from Canada
Love the humor and the characterizations of a Canadian and an American cop, though I don't believe it 100%. I like Paul Gross a lot and this is his best show. However, like all TV shows it has fantastic and not so much episodes. Continuously has the value of doing what is right.
The series on Due South show a Mountie making daily decisions that reflect values, morals, and standing beside principles. It's an awesome series to rewatch. Also, the interactions with the main characters are uplifting, some funny, and showing interactions with others in a meaningful light. I like the series immensely. They could be watched by adolescents to learn principles. The wolf-dog would appeal to animal lovers. You easily like the Mountie just for his love of his animal, and at the same time interact with the animal to be responsible. I really like the series and plan to rewatch it. I loved this show when it was on back in the late nineties. The banter is still fun and engaging. I wish they still made TV shows that lifted up good behavior as virtuous and not something that is old and out of fashion.
