Any Roman Catholic interested in the Faith and the slide into Modernity should read this.(Also those non-catholics who are want to understand some of the shady goings-on in Rome in the Twentieth Century!)
This book is a fascinating read (I read it in 3 sittings). I found it a little 'academic' in places, but enlightening, and it confirmed many of my suspicions. I have lent this to an older catholic friend ,who disagrees with some of the author's comments regarding eminent Polish cardinals, but is otherwise in accord with much of the content.
Thanks to the Pontiff's recent attempts to suppress the Traditional Latin Mass, many of us have found our way to the original and beautiful Extraordinary Form. Indeed, my local Latin Mass parish is a young and thriving one!
It is a fairly quick read and well with it, even for those who just love the (true) conspiracies of history!
