Quality Vintage TV
The Defenders with E G Marshall was well known for creative writing and performances dealing with difficult social issues. An amazing TV series which stood like a beacon in the wasteland of early 1960's television. It was not known for years if the Defenders would ever be available again for viewing. Anyone who watched this series when originally broadcast must be, as I am, delighted to see it again. We can only hope that the rest of the series will be transferred to DVD and be available to the public. A grateful thanks for whoever did the work to revive the Defenders for those of us who have never forgotten it and have missed it these many years and, hopefully for the new viewers who will see merit in the series.

Hindsight
Even though this series was filmed decades ago, it rings true today. Issues that we struggle with today can be viewed as we look back on past decisions in our judicial system. We can be grateful for the progress we have made.

One of the Best Drama Series
The Defenders is well written, beautifully acted and always teaches you something. If you can buy only one dvd series this year - the Defenders is the one. I look forward to series two.

The Defenders season 1
Fantastic show! Guest stars galore! Probably the most underrated show of all-time! Plenty of location scenes, step back in time and enjoy this great drama! On a scale of 1 to 10 i give it a 17 !

The Defenders-Season One
I have enjoyed watching the first season consisting of 32 episodes. I hope The producers will make available the remaining three seasons and episodes as soon as possible. I definitely would buy all four seasons.

28% Failure
The quality is good except the following episodes were unwatchable:- The entire DVD 2 all 4 episodes. On DVD 3 episodes 1, 3, & 4 On DVD 5 episodes 3 & 4 The above 9 episodes were totally unwatchable. I am not very happy losing 28% of what I paid for.

The BEST
There is only one episode that I didn't like - the writing is excellent. I'm hoping Seasons 2, 3, and 4 will be available to the public on DVD.
