    Book which explains the dogs needs and psych. Helps to relieve the dog of its pack protector burden to become a happy dog within it’s human family

    The contents made perfect sense. Worked for me. Ive met and spoken to the author. The book is very valuable. I lost my copy in a house move so this is a replacement for me.

    "There is definitely something in this"

    I have read this book before but lost it and needed to replace. My lovely little dog was very aggressive on lead embarrassingly so plus the fuss from him when returning home seemed cute but was starting to become annoying. As soon as I instigated the techniques he calmed right down and my dog is miles better behaved when i return home. It is really very hard to not fuss him until I am ready but he is so much calmer around the house. The walks have also calmed down but I still need more practice here. There is nothing cruel in these methods, the biggest worry is can I maintain them!

    Interesting

    I was recommended this book as there is a new puppy n the house who is very hyper. Put some of the things into place recommended in this book and after a few days they startled to work.

    Fascinating Insight

    Jan Fennell has a fascinating insight into the psychology of dogs. Although some of her advice rather goes against my instinct to make a fuss of my dog, I have put her principles to work and there is no doubt that they are effective. The book is very readable and I would recommend it to all dog owners, whether new or experienced.
