Prescribed by my dermatologist, because it works!
Okay, you could mistake it for simple Vaseline. But it's so much more. It seals in skin moisture, especially after a bath or shower. Initially, it feels like a greasy ointment - and for a few minutes, I dislike the feel. But it very quickly blends into the skin leaving only non-irritated smoothness and eliminating ALL skin dryness. Very healing. Has virtually eliminated my need for steroid creams to treat my mild psoriasis. It may seem somewhat expensive, but, truly, "a little dab 'l do ya!" Just a tiny bit on a finger tip is enough to cover an entire arm (really). One jar easily lasts 4 to 6 months - and that's using it daily all over (arms, legs, shoulders, trunk, and feet). I highly recommend the jar over the tube, however, because it is quite difficult to squeeze out of the tube, especially the more it gets used. It's virtually impossible to get the last 1/2 ounce out of the tube (unless you are willing to slice it open!). The jar is so much more practical.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Greasy Messy
This is just like VASELINE ,my sheets get all oily, my carpet gets greasy when put on feet. When put on neck my hair sticks in the grease. When on hands I do not want to touch my face because I do not want all the oil .I then went to the USA for the weekend and could have bought for $13.00 so the $35.00 I payed was a terrible deal . It is called Healing ointment ,I guess I wasn't expecting Petrolatum jelly. Maybe good on diaper rash it stops anything from getting to skin.
