Great Throttle Body Upgrade
Throttle body looks great and opens and closes smoothly. Looks like good quality and has genuine Skunk2 markings and documents. Great addition to my SKunk2 intake manifold. I've had issues with other brand, and no-name brand, throttle bodies in the past. They would bind and not machined right. This throttle body appears to function as it should. Throttle Body Installation
Simple to install. Other parts that function along with the throttle body need to be checked to ensure proper idle on startup. - TPS. Set from 0.3V for idle to 4.5 V for wide open. Used dremel to cut flat head into the screws that mount the original TPS. Note: there are 2 different TPS for this application. - IACV. Disassemble and clean the idle air control valve, and replace the o-ring. Need special 5 point Torx bit to remove the motor. If 5 point Torx bit not available, cut flat head into screw head. This parts gets frozen from carbon buildup inside the intake manifold, and difficult to clean without taking it apart, and will be difficult to set the idle if not cleaned. Re-adjust the throttle cable. Check for any throttle plate interference. - MAP. Transfer over the MAP sensor, unless other modifications made.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
