    Killer Joke

    I cried with laughter watching Monty Python as it came out. I was a young teenager, and my education was ruined by competing to repeat verbatim what we had seen that week on Python.. All comedy is derivative. Python too. But pretty much all comedy since owes the pythons. The Pythons did not start sillyness, absurdity and incongruity, but it is now hard to laugh at Tristram Shandy, or the Goons but the Python's have aged astonishingly well. Apart from the death, dementia and John Cleese.

    This is to replace the box set the neighbours stole while I was away. The item arrived on time and was excellent value. The menu is very confusing just like my old one, But that is Monty python for you.

    owl stretching time

    the sketch show that took absurdity to new heights breaking quite a few rules/ taboos and kicked off a phenomena. True some of the jokes are very dated now but some are absolutely ageless...dead parrot, lumberjack song, spanish inquisition etctera A cult classic in every sense

    good value

    The must have set for Monty Python fans, who don't have all the series..The only let down, is no list of sketches for each episode,and no booklet, with bit of a history of this iconic tv series. only a few titles listed on the menus,but its a good transfer,and nicely packaged.

    nobody expects the spanish inquizition!!!!

    still as funny and out there as I first the pythons in my teens.the crazy characters and situations make this collection of comedy fantastic value.a must for pythons fans too own.
