"Amelia Knott's The Art of Thriving Online is a gorgeous choose-your-own-adventure for digital wellness. As someone constantly plugged in, I was captivated by Amelia's grounded, curious, non-prescriptive approach to reclaiming our digital lives. "This book is packed with realistic and fun exercises that empower you to forge your own path in the digital age. Free from a one-size-fits-all approach, through Amelia's guidance, I could feel what a healthy relationship with my phone truly means for me. " The Art of Thriving Online is not your typical self-help guide; it's a rich catalog of ways to get clear on who you are and what you want--online and offline. Amelia's insights and strategies are both refreshing and practical, providing a roadmap to clarity and balance in our connected world. Your free and intentional relationship with technology starts here." -- Maria Bowler , coach and author of Making Time "A must-read for all of us who can't decide if our phone is our most prized possession or our biggest enemy. An accessible, relatable, actionable, and tender journey of self-exploration for the chronically online, here to help us honor what the internet provides us and leave us with the tools to source what it doesn't." -- Frankie Simmons , writer and host of The Sunshine Hunter's Field Guide " The Art of Thriving Online is a road map for creative self-liberation and a warm and playful reprieve for our internet-obsessed lives. Through this practical and beautiful text, Knott is a compassionate guide inviting artistic play and self-kindness. Readers learn to build the creative world that offers the respite and fulfillment they futilely seek from social media. If you struggle with social media, this is a must read! You will feel lovingly held in Knott's vast acceptance while gently guided toward the most expressed and supported version of yourself." -- Rachel Kaplan, MA, MFT , author of Feel, Heal, and Let That Sh*t Go, "Amelia Knott's The Art of Thriving Online is a gorgeous choose-your-own-adventure for digital wellness. Do you wish you could spend less time on social media, or maybe even quit it altogether? You're not alone! "Social media is woven into so many aspects of our daily lives," says Amelia Knott, "but it is not designed with our psychological well-being in mind." Thankfully, it is possible to create a conscious relationship with the online world. The Art of Thriving Online: A Workbook goes far beyond "digital detoxing," with innovative methods for counteracting manipulative, compulsive, and stress-inducing aspects of social media while preserving the goodness of your time online. The foundation of Knott's method is creativity--she provides a playful, interactive place to explore the impact social media has on you as you shift to a more positive, health-promoting approach. Through creative activities, reflections, therapeutic art, writing prompts, and more, you'll learn how to safely process emotions through the forms of personal expression suited to your unique style. Looking through the many lenses of the internet's impact--such as attention, productivity, privacy, worthiness, fear, disinformation, and belonging--this is a space for you to become aware of the invisible influences shaping your thoughts and feelings. Break beyond the boundary set by algorithms to find your own answers and author your own definition of wellness. Designed for self-guidance, this workbook will help you to: * Carve out space in your life to reflect on your relationship and habits with social media * Learn to explore and express emotions using art materials * Understand the ways technology impacts your mental health * Unpack systemic barriers to personal and collective wellness * Discover the political and economic motivations shaping social media "Our digital lives are meaningful," says Knott, "and we can show up online while also caring for our mental health." Here is a "gentle manifesto" for establishing new habits and boundaries that make you feel truly well--online and off.

- i***c (888)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzter MonatBestätigter KaufThis is a frustrated positive feedback. I am always perplexed when sellers choose to ship via an "off-brand" shipper, e.g., OSM Worldwide. This tends to delay the time it takes to get to me vs more "traditioaal" shipped, e.g., USPS, UPS, or FED-EX. This is a pretty good seller. The price was good, the shipping pretty prompt (though deliver took a bit longer than I expected), and the communication was pretty good as well.
- z***i (1162)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufI recently purchased a book from this Seller, and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. The book arrived in excellent condition, exactly as described. It was packaged in a sturdy, reusable cardboard envelope using no plastic at all. Delivery was surprisingly fast, exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend this Seller!Wombat, the Reluctant Hero (Nr. 364491341296)
- 2***4 (110)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufThis by far is the most amazing packaging ever. What an awesome surprise....The book ordered was in EXCELLENT perfect condition...I have purchased new books from ebay but never has one arrived as advertised "NEW" and perfect like this one. Kudos to this seller....I am beyond impressed...certainly will be a returning customer. The price for the book was half the price of the same book from other sellers...and it was a good buy. These Tangled Threads (Biltmore) (Nr. 305994249122)
