Synopsis
The Police in America provides a comprehensive introduction to the foundations of policing in the United States today. Descriptive and analytical, the text is designed to offer undergraduate students a balanced and up-to-date overview of who the police are and what they do, the problems they face, and the many reforms and innovations that have taken place in policing. Using timely articles and excerpts, the authors take readers beyond the headlines and statistics to present a comprehensive and contemporary overview of what it means to be a police officer. Instructors and students can now access their course content through the Connect digital learning platform by purchasing either standalone Connect access or a bundle of print and Connect access. As described, questionable packaging, poor communication. Shipping issue that took weeks to resolve but was shipped fast afterwards.

I was very satisfied with this seller! The book came in the exact condition that was originally described, and I was being updated consistently with when the item was shipped as well as when I’d receive it. The seller was on point with communication and I really appreciate that so much because I was able to know when I’d receive the item and I got it at the perfect timing when I needed it!!

The item was exactly as described and pictured. Even with shipping the price was a great value compared to brand new Ariat boots. It was obvious that a lot of care was put into packaging it. Shipping cost were very reasonable.
