At the centre of the book is John Charles Robinson, curator at London's new Victoria and Albert Museum. Desperate to make his mark as a connoisseur and to create one of the world's most impressive and important collections, he relied upon individual collectors, who, like him, were resolute and obsessive; in thrall to the endless desire for the perfect collection.

Unfortunately the packaging didn't survive Royal Mails handling and this was the only book I received of five I had ordered. I contacted WeBuyBooks and they have been brilliant in trying to resolve the issue of the missing books. They are replacing one that they still have in stock though unfortunately are unable to do so for the other three so are issuing a refund for these.

More robust packaging is required, especially for big orders. However, this seller offers excellent value, and I have purchased many books from this seller with no issues so far.
