The Death Gate Cycle is one of my favorites.
So, my mother bought be Vol. 1 & 2 on a whim in 1990 or early 1991 when I wasn't around. All she knew, "He like D&D." I hated "reading" though. Well, it turns out, it was more about "what" I read than reading itself. The right books make all the difference. She bought 1 paperback and 1 hardback, because that was all that was available. I ended up buy both hard and paperback versions of most of the series. Budgets during lean times stopped me from getting hardback of Vol. 3 & Vol. 4. So now, I decided I needed to fill that gap. So, yes, I own 2 copies of each book in the series. I read the hardbacks and I read the paperbacks. You know the story is better in the hardbacks :-) But seriously, books are made to be read, the hardbacks are more durable but also more collectable. I allow friends to borrow the paperbacks when they want to read a good story. This series, literally, changed the way spend my spare time. I have read this series, more times that I want to admit. Fit for any age, in my opinion, and an awesome, well thought out story with several complete, well thought out worlds to explore.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
