Comprehensive without confusion
I estimate that I've read about a dozen different books on various aspects of the prophecies in the book of Revelation (e.g. the mark of the beast, the identity of the antichrist, the role of the false prophet, the timing of the various battles against Israel, etc) . This book combines almost all of those topics in a way that is easily understandable for both the person who has considerable familiarity with End Time events and teachings and those who have not.
The organization of the book makes topics easy to follow, differing points of view are analyzed, and references to related O.T. and N.T. verses are well documented. The author quotes from many other commentators, both early and recent in church history. He states his point of view when there are different interpretations, and explains how he came to the conclusion with a logic that shows his broad knowledge of the scriptural material and the importance of proper exegesis.
After reading, I usually circulate my books with family and friends, and request that they do the same. I bought this book as a second copy to loan to others. I don't want to be without it in my personal library. I'm sure I will refer to it often, and I highly recommend it to others.
