A return to the franchise's strengths.
I was one of the minority (it seems) who liked Prometheus, though I accept that it was different to all the other films in the Alien franchise. Those of you who thought Prometheus lacked acid-blooded, salivating killing machines will be much happier with this film. The film develops the story arc begun in Prometheus really well, and it has strong characterisation throughout. The various creatures are effectively realised to show an evolutionary process leading up to the critters we all love to scare us. My one slight criticism is that there is more gore and less suspense in this film than the other Ridley Scott films in the franchise: what Scott does so well in the original Alien film is rack up the tension and this is somewhat lacking here. loved it
I enjoyed this very much . It looks good and has all the great elements of an Alien film . You know whats coming but it still makes you jump and scream . The characters do stupid things but you still want them to get away . I will have to watch it several times because you miss things in the earlier viewings !Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

an excellent twist on the previous films
very good story line which explains the original space ship and pilot and keeps your attention right to the end. the ending is unusual and in my opinion could have been different but in all still as good as all the previous films. Don't miss itBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Good, but not great compared to original Alien films.
It’s a good film by most standards, but compared to the early Alien films is just OK. Supposedly the middle film of a trilogy and it feels like it. It is entertaining but the shock value has lessened. Beautifully filmed as you’d expect from Ridley Scott, and mostly well acted. Dissapointing follow up to prometheus

A must for Alien fans!
Set after the the Prometheus "prequel". WAYLAND UTANI. sends a colony vessel out into space towards a suitable planet. The crew intercepts a mysterious broadcast and decides to investigate.
