    It does the job.

    The brake switch stopper material is pretty hard and I had to grind the male part of the stopper plug because it was not flexible enough to fit into the stopper switch hole. I ground a little too much so I added a little gorilla glue and inserted the stopper plug from the bottom of the hole. My original plastic stopper switch plug broke into many pieces and I didn't know what it was after finding the black plastic material on the carpet. Be sure to check this part on your car before buying a brand new Brake light switch. I have a 2007 Infinity g35. BTW, I used some folded over masking tape until I got this part. Local auto parts stores don't have this part and none knew anything about a stopper switch plug. I live in Brownsville Texas.

    Great little part

    This is a life saver. On my 2002 Infiniti G20 Sport, this piece had crumbled away after many many years of use. The G20, being an awesome car, is still in heavy rotation as my daily with its classic design and great handling ability so I had to replace this little part to make starting the car easier and not so labor intensive. Definitely recommended....

    Works As Advertised

    It does the job it was meant to do, which is serving as a stop to the brake light switch. It pops right in the hole very easily, but is a real pain to get to being under the dashboard. In my opinion, all of these buttons are way over priced, with some OEMs selling for over $20. You have to remember this is merely a small piece of rubber that was poured into a mold, which I found can be replaced by a simple bolt and nut.

    Rubber stopper install tip

    Although this is an OEM rubber stopper, due to the difficulty in access to the location while depressing the brake pedal, I broke down and slightly trimmed the peg hole with scissors. I had my more flexible teenage son contourt his body under the dash and finally I heard the stopper pop into the required position. It was a moment of victorious celebration.
