Der Einband weist nur sehr geringfügige Beschädigungen auf, wie z.B. kleinere Schrammen, er hat aber weder Löcher, noch ist er eingerissen. Bei gebundenen Büchern ist der Schutzumschlag möglicherweise nicht mehr vorhanden. Die Bindung weist geringfügige Gebrauchsspuren auf. Identical in size and format to Zinn's A People's History, the 24 chapters parallel those of that book, and each text is prefaced by a short introduction written by Zinn.

It was shipped from Pennsylvania, to Atlanta, past Alabama to Texas, enjoyed several days in Texas, then to Minneapolis, Jacksonville, Florida, back to Atlanta, finally to Birmingham, and Huntsville.
