Disgaea: Hour of Darkness is the first title in the Disgaea series and tells the story of the narcissistic young demon, Laharl. He has vowed to reclaim his father's throne, and he and several companions set out to win the title of Overlord of the Netherworld. Fans of tactical RPGS will recognize the game's battle mechanics, which take place on a grid-based map. Players control a ten-member team composed of characters and monsters, which fall into a wide range of classes with different aptitudes and skills. The game places focus on grinding in order to improve character and item stats, leading easily to hours of gameplay and a whole lot of fun.

    Game is great! Diving into the item world is basically endless fun. One of the best strategy rpgs. Story is funny and full charming characters. Definitely worth the buy.

    Disgaea almost best SRPG ever

    A very good and with almost endless replayability, as far as one wants it to be, Disgaea never fails to amuse with its over-the-top animations and was a good chance to get it so quickly

    Great JRPG. Awesome story, gameplay, humor, characters with lots of personality and 100s and 100s of hour of gameplay. Lots of replay ability and in depth strategies to learn.
