Koss KSC75 - probably the best budget headphones you can find
The KSC75 is well-known for its incredible sound (compared to the price range). These little powerhouses beat much more expensive models in the sound department. They do lack a little in design and build quality, which is not the sturdiest you'll find. Nevertheless, for the casual and even some more demanding listeners, you can't go wrong with these. great for the price.
My wife uses these headphones to listen to music when she goes to bed. The music puts her to sleep. They are perfect except she tosses and turns during the night. One of the earpieces stops working after a few months. This is the third set I have bought in the last 4 years. Koss SportClip KSC75
Light, doesn't hurt ears for hours, sound is great, and cheap. My second pair. Nothing to slip out of your ears, They stay on and are adjustable. Sound quality is clearer than my Sennheiser studio closed back headphones. I use these for regular iPod listening as well as to double check the tracks created in my home studio. In my studio I use Sony MDR-7506 studio monitor headphones and when my tracks sound great on both of these I know I've got it. Great for walking

Very good sound and comfort; not that reliable
I'm using headphones of this model since like 2005 I guess. Sound is very clear, frequency response is as flat as in many studio monitors (I think they are as flat as BeyerDynamic DT440, but I don't have any headphones in higher price ranges to verify if I can hear any difference at all), and there are barely any audible harmonics (unlike Sony MDR-G57, which I like for reliability but don't like for they harmonize a lot, especially on complex metal and extreme genres). They are very comfortable, once you get used to hanging them on your ears. When I turn off music, I often forget that I'm wearing them, and they never fall off. I can easily wear them with helmet, and though they do interfere with sunglasses somewhat, it's acceptable and not ruining anything. Bad thing about them is they're flimsy. Basically, here are four problems. First thing which usually breaks is cable to one of earpieces. If you want to save it, wrap the cable with around point it enters under earpiece cover. Second, after several times of deattaching and reattaching (for resoldering of broken cable), ear hooks will not hold to earpiece, and will start falling off (this is when it eventually gets lost). Third, they're sensitive to water (and sweat, and even humidity). If you sweat a lot, they'll die in around half year even if cable will still be intact (otherwise, it breaks first). If you let them freeze, they die. You get under heavy rain once with them, they die. Forth problem. Sometimes you may accidentally damage membrane (with fingers, or when trying to remove hair and dirt hammered under foam), other times membrane is intact but dirty. In these cases, it will start dinging in resonance with some notes. Despite all this, they are far above their cost on sound quality, so if that's what you after, they are perfect (any headphones will die eventually, but these ones are relatively cheap to replace)Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
