Very fast shipping. Excellent communication as even though I had to return the item, it was due to my mechanic not wanting to do what seller suggested as my mechanic said he had never done before and without doing that, the transmission would not fit my Camry. Anyhow, I would certainly do business with this seller again and comes highly recommended. Look to this seller for value too.

Some things that can be better communicated. The motors are from Japan so you will need to use wire harness off old engine or purchase a new one. pulled plugs and full of oil so replacing valve cover gaskets and hoping that resolve the issue. VVT solenoid sensor connector broken and MAP sensor connector broken in transport. After contacting JDM recommended to replace the water pump as well. Huge amount of carbon buildup in air intake system. Just awareness not a purchase that is drop in ready. Some things that can be better communicated. Buying an engine from Japan, I must say ...
Buying an engine from Japan, I must say I learned a lot. From the wiring harness that came on motor should be avoided because it s made to Japan cars. Example, I really liked the coils and the connectors that connect the coils. The quality of these parts are better made just doing a side by side comparison. Well wanting them comes with a price. Keeping the Japan coils would be keeping the japan harness which is not compatible because japan cars are made with steering wheel on other side meaning the harness is on opposite side in engine compartment. Then you got the coils themselves, they are a different diameter and must use the Japan valve covers. That s easy as valve covers are on the engine. Must consider if you ever have a failed coil well you be able to go to auto store to get coil ... Buying an engine from Japan, I must say I learned a lot. Come to realize I must remove my valve covers from old engine because my cois will not bfit on engine I bought from Japan. Another example the flex plate that came with engine looked identical as my flex plate. Once again the flex plate are so close in size you cannot sell the difference, well that not till you install engine and see that converter bolts do not line up.. That the flex plate that came with engine was for a standard transmission. Yup had to take engine out to swap flex plates. So even after all that, finally completed install and engine fire up and runs real nice, So if your getting one of these engines be sure you understand what you get and know all of what is involved to do this right. It will save you a lot of time.

I installed this in my Subaru Forester. Shipped pretty quickly to my door. About 4 business days. So far so good! Could have been packaged better as the engine wasn t strapped down very well but it made it to me with no damage but the way the engine was on the pallet, it was pretty unstable. I did my own leak down test on it and it passed. And so far with about 150 miles on it, it appears to be not burning any oil. Which is huge on these motors. I installed this in my Subaru Forester. Shipped pretty quickly to my door. About 4 business days. So far so good! Could have been packaged better as the engine wasn t strapped down very well but it made it to me with no damage but the way the engine was on the pallet, it was pretty unstable. I did my own leak down test on it and it passed. And so far with about 150 miles on it, it appears to be not burning any oil. Which is huge on these motors.

nice good quality slight issues with coil pack match using original or suppied valve covers. seems to be a coil pack that is not supplied OEM. must blend both & space retainer bolt. ran excellent at start up good deal
