Product Information

Codemasters re-christens its Colin McRae Rally series with "DiRT," an off-road circuit racer that incorporates a wide assortment of events and more than 40 licensed vehicles in 12 car classes. A custom graphics engine dubbed "Neon" was specifically created to take advantage of each format's advanced features, allowing for more realistic physics that account for such variables as wind, terrain, damage, and weather. Up to ten drivers will slide and skid their way through real-world courses in a mix of rally, hill climb, rally raid, rally cross, and crossover events. Fender-crumpling crashes and dramatic jumps can be revisited with the built-in replay system, which for the first time in the long-running franchise, gives players complete control over how they view the captured footage. Players can embark on a career, enter a single race, or compete against up to 11 real-world opponents via Sony's PlayStation Network.

    Too Difficult for me

    This is a very difficult game to play. I set it at the easiest level on the easiest course and I still found it very hard to drive the vehicle. Way too many curves and the vehicle is very difficult to keep on course. I have GT5 and 6 plus Need for Speed Shift and really enjoy those games and can adjust them and set them for levels that match my ability (which is not real high) and play them for hours at a time. This game is just no fun at all for me. I suppose if you are really good at PS3 race games, you may be able to navigate this game. It's just not for me.

    Still Love This Game!

    It's been out FOR YEARS! And yes, the graphics of course don't hold up to modern standard, but they're still pretty dang tasty! The driver feedback and driver controls aren't the greatest compared to modern games, but STILL, THIS GAME IS OLD! For the time, no game beats it! I Love it still after all this time. That's why I bought it again. Now I just need to get every other one!

    Excellent Game

    I can say this games condition is very good condition. The game itself is awesome along with the other versions of this game, "Dirt 2" & "Dirt 3". Codmasters, one of the gaming makers of this Game, did a very good graphics along with the other versions. Codmasters also does "Grid" & "Grid 2" which are very Good in detail. I'm having fun with game. Tyvm..

    The case in the disc look like they are ...

    The case in the disc look like they are in great shape. However, a select few races after to choose them, the game will just get stuck in the loading screen. It won't freeze, it just loads perpetually. The disc itself looks new. Perhaps defective copy. Very depressing.

    the dirt series is fun if u loved the other games u will love the original its fun and exciting and with a racing wheel it feels more realistic
