A refurbished and expanded version of the original PSP launch title, Twisted Metal: Head-On -- Extra Twisted Edition comes to the PS2 with a wealth of extras and new features. With development overseen by Twisted Metal series creator David Jaffe and his Eat, Sleep, Play studio, the Extra Twisted Edition promises better lighting, higher resolution textures, and more detail on each of the game's 18 vehicles. Existing battle arenas in Los Angeles, Paris, Egypt, and Tokyo are joined by a selection of new combat zones for use in story, challenge, and endurance modes. Other exclusive PS2 bonuses include 16 vehicles and four lost levels originally intended for "Twisted Metal: Black 2," a "Sweet Tour" mode where players guide the flame-haired clown Sweet Tooth around a brand new level on foot, and a documentary about the series' history including several deleted endings.

    The most underappreciated Twisted Metal game

    This is one of the best and most fun to play Twisted Metal games that no one ever talks about. The games driving, handling, weapons, and physics all feel really good making the game really smooth to play which is how a car combat game should feel. The graphics are pretty good for a ps2 game and I like how they kept that cartoony, comic book type art style that Twisted Metal 2 was known for. This is the perfect Twisted Metal game for people new to the franchise as it's affordable, easy to find, and is very smooth and fun to play

    Same Old Arena Car Combat

    I played all the TM games on PS1 and thought it was fun for awhile but no depth to keep playing. Tried this, the last TM PS2 game, it looks a little better, but L2 to pick weapons and R2 to fire was the best choice for controls ? At least GAS was X with that version. Will try the cheats tonight to see if it makes it any more fun to play, paid almost $30 for it used, trying to like it.

    better than you remember

    I had twisted metal: black back in the day and had to sell it. Now in getting all the ps 2 games that I can so if the ps5 is able to play games from 2,3,4 along with 5 id have a stand alone system from all the play station franchise.

    I'm a twisted metal fan, so I got it for twisted, just happened to have a 2nd game as part of the deal, took it...lol

    Great Game!

    I have always loved the Twisted Metal Series but this on is like a mashup of the first 3 games and I love it!
