The MDS JE-780 is an excellent piece of audio equipment
Like the old VHS vs Betamax battle of the tape formats in the 70's the farbbetter one lost out to an inferior 'foe', was the case with the MD vs CD battle of the 90's. The MD format is much more adaptable than CD - the amount of functionality with the MD format is amazing, especially with NET machines like the Sony MDS JE-780. There is a lot of misinformation about not being able to link up a Sony NET machine with your computer for fast downloading etc. - quoting Donald Trump - fake news!! I have 3 modern computers, all running Windows 10, and all running Sony's SonicStage software and all connecting without a hitch to my Sony NET players, including a MZ -N710 portable!!
