Pleased With My Purchase
I bought this CD set as a hunch that it would be good. I was eager to hear Neil Diamond sing the old movie hit songs. I wasn't disappointed, and liked the fact that he was backed by a full orchestra. He's up there with Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Perry Como and Dean Martin. There are about 3 numbers I don't care for, but I don't care for them no matter who sings them. All in all the two CDs are enjoyable and I've been listening to them frequently.

So Disappointed.
Very disappointing. I so wanted to like these CDs, but the music just doesn't appeal to me. Everything sounds so draggy. Balance between voice and orchestra is off. I gave it away.

everything we expected it to be, based on being long-time Neil Diamond fans..his renditions of all of the songs on this album are beyond great!
