An treasure of the industry in comic books
As a child of the ‘70’s I’ve enjoyed the timeline of major historical events in the US with events in comic book culture. The book focuses on Marvel and DC but has blurbs on fading and emerging independent publishers. A glimpse into the mechanics of the industry, the players and their movements. In my opinion a must read and re-read. Interesting egos, causes and changes. Events, creators going to competition, direct market, boom years, cancellations, young guns etc. I can’t say enough good and fascinating things about this book/series.
